After King’s long haul from Oregon to California, he was very happy to finally settle down in his stall and have some dinner. We were very happy to see his appetite was good and he was extremely curious about everything happening in his new environment. He particularly loved his salt block and he was soon licking away at it and drinking deep. While he was pretty alert during the night to all the new sounds etc, he did get a good nap and sleep the following morning. He took full advantage of a sunny day and caught up on his rest.
We are thrilled that he is here with us, and look forward to helping him on his journey to a loving home.
