March 9, 2026:

We were hoping to bring King down to CA on the week end of 8th March, (good traveling weather), but unfortunately his Coggins results took a bit longer to come back than we had anticipated. So heads up get them done as soon as you can! But, everything happens for a reason, so we are waiting for the next break in weather which looks like it will be towards the end of the month. In the meantime King get’s to keep enjoying life with buddy and getting even stronger! His arrival is getting closer!

March 20, 2026:

We’re very happy to share that King has recovered well from his many bite wounds and is now ready to make the trip to Blue Horse Rescue from Oregon. It feels like this moment has been a long time coming, so we’re all very excited and eager to meet this little cutie.

Many thanks go out to his caregiver for the time, commitment, and love she devoted to his recovery. Even through torrential Oregon rain she gave him the best possible care and a genuine second chance at a happy life. When King arrives we’ll be posting plenty of pictures and updates about how he travelled and his settling in at BHR. We are really looking forward to meeting King!
